The plan:
The plan focuses on the reorganization of
traffic lanes and perpetrations for the NTA
light-rail, including the addition of pedestrian
and cycling lanes.
Implementation:
Scheduled to begin in October 2009.
Personality
Connecting the eastern part of the city with the
beach, the road is an essential part of the
city’s identity, parallel to Oxford Street in
London. A third of the city's population resides
walking distance away from the road.
