Location
Set in the southern area of Bat-Yam, west of the
city's business district (formerly the
industrial zone), the square sits east of the
beach.
Municipal Project
The plan:
Along with general organization of traffic lanes
and replacement of infrastructures is, an urban
butterfly garden is to be raised here.
Implementation:
Traffic organization and infrastructure
replacement has been begun but is currently on
hold.
Personality
The square acts as a border of sorts between the
city's older residential buildings and the
city's new high-rise neighborhood and business
district. The square is a point of intersection
from which many main routes diverge and is
itself located on the route that connects the
business district with the beach.
