Location

Southern section of the beachfront; border
connects with the city of Rishon L'Zion
Municipal Project

The plan:
Development and improvement of the boardwalk.
Three hotels are planned, each including
commercial façades facing the beach. There are
plans to designate the former garbage dump as a
local urban nature reserve.
Implementation:
Schedule not yet available.
Personality

Unlike the rest of Bat-Yam, residential
buildings are set inland from the beach.
Consequently, the boardwalk itself is also set
apart from the beach. The area is thus
significantly different in character from the
rest of the local urban coastline. Ben Gurion
Blvd, the road that runs parallel to the
boardwalk, stops short in an empty gravel lot,
and thus does not connect with the city of
Rishon L'Zion, which borders Bat-Yam on the
south.
